Christina Philpott
Christina is a passionate EMS educator and has been a clinical provider for more than a decade. Starting her career in EMS at her local fire department, Christina then went on the obtain her nursing degree in pursuit of her goal to become a flight nurse. As a flight nurse Christina, has a diverse background working pre-hospital, Level 1 trauma ER, Level 1 cardiac, and medical ICU from rural America to the big city. Christina has never met a stranger, and finds ways to relate with anyone she meets allowing her to connect with a wide variety of her students. Dissecting complex pathologic processes, and finding quirky ways to help others understand even the most in-depth cases are one of Christina's greatest strengths. With a goal to help others understand the “why” behind care they are providing, Christina also loves mentoring those around her to help grow new providers in our field into competent, kind, caregivers. Known for her compassionate patient care, it's not uncommon to hear Christina singing songs to her pediatric patients, or asking her elderly patient's all about their lives.
