Justin Quarisa is a Captain Paramedic with the Cosumnes Fire Department in Elk Grove, CA. He began his fire service career in 2004 with the Galt Fire Protection District and has nearly 20 years of experience as a rescue technician and paramedic.  Justin has taught multiple fire academies and EMT courses at Cosumnes River College, and he leads the department's Virtual Reality Program, using VR to teach fire behavior across academy and internship programs. He also serves as a canine search specialist with Sacramento USAR Task Force 7 and is currently assigned as a Training Captain of the Cosumnes Fire Department Training Division.
