Jennifer Thackston
Lieutenant Jennifer Thackston is a Paramedic-Firefighter, Accreditation Manager, and Community Risk Reduction Officer for Clemson University Fire and EMS. With over a decade in fire and emergency services, she specializes in risk analysis, program evaluation, and developing effective CRR initiatives. Jennifer has been instrumental in managing Clemson’s Public Access AED and Trauma Kit programs and integrating emerging technologies into risk reduction efforts. She holds a Master’s in Public Administration (Emergency Management) from Clemson University, where her research focused on Mass Gathering Event Medicine and large-venue incident management. She brings expertise in fire prevention, emergency medical services, and interagency collaboration, bridging the gap between traditional fire service operations and modern, data-driven CRR strategies.
