There have been several large loss fires recently in fully sprinkler protected warehouses. This class will review some of these events and examine what went wrong as well as review all aspects of fire protection systems.  We will explore the various components and how they work together and reinforce the concepts that matter during fireground operations.   We will review fire pump operations and how best to support them for both sprinkler and standpipe operations.  The newest trend in standpipe operations will be discussed with a focus on the why.  Additionally, the most recent changes to the fire pump and standpipe standards will be reviewed.
