The classroom portion will discuss tower ladder operational tactics at various types of structures, forcible entry from the bucket, hydraulic operations, miscellaneous rescue operations, roof ventilation, rescue and removals, and using portable ladders from the bucket. Then the class will transform into a hands-on demonstration experience using tower ladders. Students will participate in performing several tactical operations including apparatus setup, portable ladders from the bucket, rescue and removal using the stokes baskets, and other scenarios.
