Invariably the fire service, paid or volunteer, will be called on to respond to construction sites for fires and emergencies during phases of new construction, renovations, alterations, or the deconstruction/demolition of existing structures. This class will identify and prioritize in detail the resources needed to 'be prepared' for the inevitable calls for assistance and mitigation of calamity. These sites are a dangerous arena not only for the workers but the firefighters who must navigate the terrain for fire operations or emergency intervention.
