Learn the importance of proper water application and competent leadership on today’s fireground, along with alternative hose stretches for mid-rise buildings and nozzle team simulated fire attack in an apartment prop. Best practices as well as how to command the fire attack team will be emphasized. The hands-on apartment prop will challenge both the officer and nozzle team firefighters to work together making decisions and advancing. The alternative hose stretches will be explained along with practical tips on how to perform them. Water mapping, stream angles, and hose handling and advancing will also be covered to sharpen your nozzlemanship skills.
