Mid-rise buildings are becoming increasingly popular across the United States. Despite their prevalence in both urban and suburban areas, many of us may not have encountered the specific challenges of fighting fires in these four—to eight-story structures. Such buildings pose unique difficulties that can put significant strain on firefighters and Incident Commanders. This program addresses multiple aspects of firefighting within mid-rise buildings.
