Live Fire: Operating in the Flowpath

This class is designed for students to learn fire dynamics, fire attack, search basics, VES, and carries. Students will learn the importance of understanding flow path and how quickly the fireground can change. Water on the fire along with performing a rescue are the two most common tasks firefighters perform. Students will perform these tasks along with reading smoke, water mapping, and searching with a thermal imaging camera. 

PPE Required: NFPA-compliant structural firefighting pants, coat, hood, gloves, boots, and helmet. (SCBA and face piece will be provided.)
