Live Fire: Critical Actions for First-Arriving Crews

The class focuses on the initial actions of first-arriving crews at residential structure fires involving trapped occupants. Students will rotate through five tactical stations that include interior fire attack, two separate search stations (oriented primary search and vent-enter-search), victim removal (civilian and firefighter), and firefighter subfloor rescue. 

PPE Required: NFPA-compliant structural firefighting pants, coat, hood, gloves, boots, and helmet. (SCBA and face piece will be provided.)
