There are as many theories about leadership as there are authors; but it can be difficult translating theory into practice.  In reality, most firefighters and officers don't deal with theories--they need very practical techniques that they can use every day to lead themselves and others to success. This class will provide a series of successful behaviors that the instructor has used in leading fire companies, battalions, divisions, a large fire department, the National Fire Academy, and the U.S. Fire Administration.
