High-Rise Fire Operations

Thursday, April 10

This 4-hour workshop is designed to give attendees a solid foundation upon which to build an effective High-Rise Fire Operations Plan.  I will provide a basic guideline, with an emphasis on identifying internal and external resources to call upon for help.  Strategic, Tactical, and Task Level positions will be identified and explained.  Specifically, I will explain the six critical positions for Strategic Command and Control.  I will explain the prioritization of the many critical tactical positions.  I will explain how the basic fundamentals of the task level RECON, Fire Attack, and Primary Search are the backbone of a successful operation.  My central themes will be establishing and maintaining a proactive and battle-ready Fire Mindset; believing that the High-Rise Fire will happen in your district, and preparing for it.
