Command Under Fire

This workshop teaches new and experienced incident commanders as well as line officers the art of commanding an incident, making decisions, assigning personnel vital fireground tasks, communicating their strategies over the radio, and tracking all units using Tactical Incident Charts. It will reinforce the use of NIMS and explain how NIMS helps with span of control. Students will have the framework to make sound decisions, convey their strategy over the radio, and run an effective functional fireground.
